This section highlights the various film and video projects I have contributed to throughout my career.
Greenwood
This film was created in collaboration with a fellow student as part of our final year Degree Show project. It tells the story of a detective grappling with the emotional weight of her professional and personal life, ultimately facing a difficult decision that forces both worlds to collide.
The entire production was a joint effort between the two of us. We directed, produced, edited, color graded, and handled sound design ourselves. I took a particular interest in the cinematography, playing a key role in developing the shot lists, crafting the visual style, and operating the camera throughout the shoot. This hands-on involvement allowed me to deepen my understanding of visual storytelling and strengthen my technical skills behind the lens.
In Pursuit of the Truth
During my studies abroad in Hamburg, Germany, I had the opportunity to be a part of a student-run production that involved months of meticulous pre-production and was filmed over four intense days. I worked as a Camera Operator alongside two other talented people , where I took on the role of Focus Puller and contributed to the development of shot lists and the overall visual direction of the project. My collaborative involvement in shaping the production's visual components helped bring the creative vision to life.
Student Music Contest
I participated in a student-run production that live-streamed an interpretation of the Eurovision Song Contest, showcasing original student music. I was part of the lighting team, assisting with the rigging and setup of the lighting systems. I was specifically in charge of Room B, the space designated for interviews and hosting. My role involved overseeing the lighting and ensuring the visual setup was aligned with the tone and flow of the live-streamed production.
Home Sweet... Not Home
For this project, we were tasked with creating a one-minute short film centered around the theme of "Neighbor Problems." The challenge involved shooting with only six camera angles, using just six camera positions, and allowing for only two takes. In addition to the filming, we were also responsible for curating the set, which included constructing walls and carefully placing props to enhance the storytelling. These constraints pushed us to think creatively and maximize the impact of every shot and detail.
Irish Music Scene Documentary Segment
This was a segment piece I created for a group project about the Irish music scene. I conducted an interview with one of my friends from a band called Joe Maxi.
